Cant beat $400 a month for an old dirty two bedroom. Me an justin were down to fully enjoy no responsibility living. Being that the place was old and the furniture was for the most part stuff we found(except for the beds) we had no attachments to anything. It is a very freeing feeling knowing that everything you own isnt worth anything. Justin would often just decide to break something random. One time he dint want to do dishes and realized we had too many dishes so he broke all of them except for two plates and two cups. the broken dishes remained broken in the kitchen for about a month. After a massive spider took over the kitchen we didnt spend to much time in there. We could deal with the rat but spiders are a whole different thing. From dirty bamboo mats, front porch garbage piles, one ac unit, stains through to the mattress, shit and shower, crock pot stews, street art, pillows between bed frames and wall, bedroom living room, bbq duck feast with no where to sit, gas tanks, my whiskey always disappearing, garbage lady, ambien drama, hiding the evidence, the ghost, taizhong house guests that wont leave, to sitting, talking and drinking. Damn this house was glorious.

friend profile #1 Yi aka Keith
First off sorry bout the bad pic but this is how you roll on the late night. I met this miami hooligan when i was working at luxy. as the only english speaking bouncer at this taipei night club we became friends. Yi is generally a great guy with the best intention, however after a couple of bottles of tequila everything changes. just because you took out 7 bouncers last week at Pasoul doesn't mean you have to find some random people to lay into every other night. when we kick it lets party and have fun. I cant save anymore innocent people from his wrath. As much as i love to watch this guy knock someone out, it takes its toll trying to squash all the beef.
My recommendation: When you get a table, order vodka and mix, not two bottles of tequila.

The Apple Newspaper
This has to be the best paper ever. Its all in chinese so i cant read it but that doesn't stop me from always looking at it when its laying around. For stories that don't have photographs (as most murders, domestic disputes, drunken machete attacks don't) they provide computer generated depictions of the incident. The best part are the peoples facial expressions. its hard to see here but the guy on the scooter trying to pull a drive by titty grab is making the coldest level 3 sex offender face ever.
Also when they do actually have photos of people being pulled from cars missing limbs and guys bleeding all over the street they make sure to print those as well.
Daily Life In Taipei, Taiwan
The MRT, this is the subway here in taiwan. its super clean and cheap probably the fastest way to get anywhere besides risking your life on a scooter.
Turns our people are really into riding bikes as well. you would never guess that being that the air pollution is awful. One good thing about riding here is that the whole city is completely flat. I mean absolutely no hills anywhere.
At the end of every year chinese people often get new furniture. This is what happens to the old stuff. every street corner is full of random crap right around the time of chinese new year. this is just one corner of the intersection and the other three looked just the same.
This is Jingwen high school where i work six hours a week.
Typical pit stop between clubs. Being that there are actually two to three 7 11's on each block its easy to grab a beer to go, or a bottle of vodka between stops and drink it in the cab on the way.
Cities
I dont know who the artist is or why i am so drawn to this picture. If you know, let me know. I have never been a big fan portraits, mountain sides, or for the most part anything they showed me in art history class. I found that maps and any sort of an artists rendition of a map or dense city have been quite appealing.

Lake Life
I need to spend a good chunk of time at my cabin this summer. since i have been living in Taipei i now full understand what a true paradise lake chelan is. Taiwan basically has no options for swimming in fresh water. This accompanied with the disgusting heat and air pollution makes the summer months almost unbearable. Sorry to all my boys who also didnt get to enjoy The Lake last year dew to my poor planing and general laziness. However this summer it is on. Late July is my goal. Boating, state park, cliffs, creek fishing, trivial pursuit, bbq, booze, wakeboarding, snorkeling, huffman injuries, babyhox sunburns, bobby bothends, wapato point, and everything else.
